Privacy

Breath collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDK, and no network requests of any kind.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page only says where the few things the app does keep are stored, and how to remove them.
What stays on your device
- Practice records — for each session: when it started, when it ended, how long it ran, which track, and whether it reached the end. Written to a file inside the app's own sandbox.
- One preference — whether you have seen the first-run screen.
Both are covered by your device backup if you have one enabled, and go nowhere else. There is no server to send them to.
Apple Health
If you grant permission, Breath writes each recorded session to Apple Health as a Mindful Session. The permission requested is write-only: the app asks for no read access at all, so it cannot see your heart rate, your heart-rate variability, or anything else in Health — with or without your permission.
Health data written by Breath is governed by Apple's own protections and stays on your device and in your iCloud backup if you use one. It is never transmitted to the developer or to anyone else. You can revoke the permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Breath.
Removing everything
Deleting the app removes its practice records with it. Sessions already written to Apple Health belong to Health from that point on, and stay until you delete them from inside the Health app.
Children
Breath is suitable for any age. It collects no data from anyone, so there is no children's data to handle differently.
Not a medical device
Breath is a guided breathing timer and makes no medical claims. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified professional about any health concern.
Changes
Any future change to this policy is published here with a new date at the top. A change that affects what leaves your device will be stated in the opening line, where you cannot miss it.
